TECHNICAL TRAINER (SECURITY INDUSTRY)

The Company

The client of Acteon is a market leader in the security video industry, focusing their activity on innovative and high quality solutions. International company covering about 200 countries, their turnover has increased by 20% in 2011. Russia and CIS is their fastest growing area, reason why they are increasing the team and searching for a Technical Trainer with main responsibility to conduct trainings for customers in Russia & CIS, implementing new material from HQ and localizing it with relevant examples from the region.

The Role

• Deliver professional, up to date: Academy, customized training, demos at trade shows & any other training activities
• Initiate, coordinate and deliver webinars on products and solutions
• Promote training internally (at local office: Sales engineers, KAM, Marketing, Inside sales etc) and externally (partners)
• Participate in the development of company training offering in cooperation with Global Training and the Council representative and give continuous feed-back to the academy team on existing and future material as well as actively participate in updating and reworking modules
• Maintain classroom training facilities or look for the best location (hotel, conference center) to deliver class room training
• Be the point of contact on training within the internally and externally
• Implement Certification program when the time is right in their region
• Actively take part in the trainer community (on a global level)
• Keep updated on any news development in the industry, in his/ her region or legislation regarding video surveillance

The Candidate

• Technical higher education, ideally in IT or Telecom
• 3 years experience as Service Engineer, Sales Engineer with teaching experience
• Excellent presentation skills, enthusiast and open-minded personality
• Good project leader as well as flexible team player
• Knowledge in Photography, IP Networks, Camera Technology, Image Quality, or/and Surveillance is a plus
• Able to travel up to 50%
• Good English
