ENGINEER DESIGNER – LOW CURRENT SYSTEMS (SCS, CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL, FIRE DETECTION, PUBLIC ALARM)

The client of Acteon is an leading company with European HQ, specialist in the Mechanical (HVAC) and Electricity (low and high voltage) fields, operating on some construction / finishing turnkey projects and also operations for clients from various industries (Automotive, Construction, Agro., Retail Chains,…).With a global turnover about 900 millions euros and over 10 000 staffs, they are in constant development and Russia is one of their strongest market.

The Role:

• Planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
• Advising new approaches to problems, and preparing or modifying drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitoring work for compliance to applicable codes (including Russian Codes) and Client’s standards
• Preparing and/or modifying electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs for stages П, РД, ИД
• Listing equipment with or without prices from suppliers
• Contacting suppliers to obtain the quotations for project specification
• Printing, folding, organizing folders and transmittal sheets
• Coordinating work with other Engineers
• Assuming the lead engineer’s role on assigned projects
• Directing and/or participating in job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data
• Using engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work

The Candidate:

• Higher technical education ideally with Design, Electrical sphere
• 3 experience within similar role, preferably with solutions mentioned (CCTV, Alarm, Fire Detection…)
• Knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, as well as CAD and graphics skills
• Analytical and flexible mind
• Solutions maker
• Easy going and ready to short business trip
• Fluent English
