The client of Acteon is a European headquartered international player in the automotive aftermarket which business operations cover production and distribution, with a long and successful presence of their products in the Russian and CIS markets.
The position
Sales
- Management and development of the existent IAM customer portfolio to reach assigned budget targets
- Prospection and recruiting of new IAM customers in all main cities to reach assigned budget targets
- Animate customer network (trainings, fairs participation, plant visit etc ) and animate customer sales ( propose promotional activities, trade marketing operation , communication initiatives , etc ) after obtaining validation from central team
- Report weekly on your progress and visits action plan for following weeks
Market intelligence
- Competition analysis in order to adapt our business and sales approach in the most efficient way to the considered area. (Product range, cross lists, pricing, organisation, logistic, etc )
- Distribution analysis, by channel and within each region (characterizing prospects potential and organisation), which constant monitoring of the market evolution
Order management
- Work in close coordination and cooperation with the IAM Marketing department, especially IAM Pricing for pricing authorisations and new tenders quotations
- Provide support in the order processing (delivery and payment) between the back-office and the customer in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and company profitability
- Money collection, you’re accountable for getting customer payment in time and in full as per the Terms negotiated
New business opportunities
- Contribute to the successful launch of new products as commercial team member by providing competitive crosslist & target pricing & target potential customers for business plan
Based in Russia, depending from IAM Filtration Business Unit , you work in close cooperation with the French based Business team partners: Pricing, Trade marketing, Promotion/Communication/Marketing, Logistics, and Product Management

Candidate Profile :
This job is opened to Sales professionals with a minimum of 5 to7 years prior sales experience necessarily in the automotive aftermarket IAM in Russia & CIS region , familiar with various automotive aftermarket channels of distribution and with key decision makers
- Very eager sales person, being driven by the wish to conquer new sales territories and to challenge the existent competitors (« hungry attitude »),
- Strong negotiation skills,
- Enjoy the field (including visit of ware-houses), curious and collecting informations
- Strong personal IAM customer intimacy, knowing personally the top IAM customers
- Good understanding and practice of the various channels of distribution and expected profitability of the various channels
- Driving license
- KPI reporting, process improvement and result oriented
- Aftermarket experience and, ideally, knowledge in Filtration
- Personal organisation skills and capacity to organise himself ( Expected to be active at customer visits from Monday afternoon to Friday lunch , with maximum 1 day office per week for reporting and planning visit)
Language skills:
Fluent in English and Russian; French basics would be a plus.
IT system skills:
Literacy in SAP Xcel PPT and ideally Access and CRM tools, Windows Pack-office
