The Company:

The client of Acteon is a global expert for civil engineering. With over 2 billion Euros turnover and over 16,000 employees, they are a worldwide operator counting subsidiaries in 77 countries and a central technical department with 50 engineers in the European headquarters. Working on major projects in Russia, they are searching for a Logistic Manager.

The Role:

• Organising, Coordinating and controlling shipments (by trucks or by boats)
• Working through and solving issues at customs clearance in collaboration with customs brokers
• Short and mid-term delivery planning and coordination based on sales plans
• Interacting and negotiating with logistics partners (analysis, service quality control, search and proposal for new ones, negotiations, market rates monitoring)
• Developing and maintaining excellent collaboration with Customs Authorities
• Preparing and Checking documents for customs (contracts, invoices, packing list, etc…) and insurance companies
• Preparation of files to recover money blocked at the customs
• Monitoring customs legislation changes and adjusting operations
• Monitoring and optimizing costs

The Candidate:

• Higher education in Logistics, Transports or other related spheres
• 3+ years experience in logistics area, preferably with construction company
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Excellent knowledge and experience in import and customs related issues
• Good organization skills and self-control coupled with customer oriented mind
• Analytic profile
• Excellent PC skills, Excel especially, SAP would be an advantage
• Russian native with fluent English
