The client
The client of Acteon is a Swiss law firm with a subsidiary in Moscow. Practicing in the areas of corporate and private legal questions, the attorney advises, counsels and defends companies and individuals at the local, national and international levels.
The position
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
- Strategically counsel clients and potential clients on legal matters
- Identify legal or contractual issues and develop new approaches to resolve complex issues
- Provide legal advice to senior management regarding various corporate and business matters
- Remain current on laws, regulations, and practices affecting the company business
- Work with Russian civil law, civil cases, administrative cases, criminal cases, tax law, administrative procedures
- Representation of the client’s interests in courtroom proceedings
The candidate
- Higher education with specialization in Russian law
- At least 3 years of experience at a law firm or within an in-house legal department
- Registered with the Moscow regional bar association
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Client and service oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Responsible, well organized and accurate
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is mandatory
