The Company:

The client of Acteon, with over 140,000 employees and a presence in 100 countries, is a global leader in Construction and Civil Engineering projects, developing and operating a unique portfolio of transport infrastructures and public facilities concessions. Working on several major projects on Russia, they are now looking for Engineers for a new top project in Yamal region involving piles foundation, concrete tank fabrication, camp and off site facilities (work shop, generators, water treatment, waste, etc). Position based in Salekhard.

The Job:

• Responsible for the planning, development and monitoring of the engineering & construction phases
• To establish and maintain the current planning system
• Analyse schedule data and advise the Project Manager / Project Engineer of potential issues
• Recommend corrective actions, in order to recover the schedule, in response to potential delays
• To participate in planning meetings as required
• Continual review and development of procedures and common support processes resulting in improved business effectiveness
• Ensure the requisite quality of data is maintained
• Develop and ensure compliance with the work breakdown structure and coding
• Production of ‘what if’ scenarios and plans to support the decision making process
• Production of risk analysis data if required by the project
• Liaise with cost control, document control, the personnel coordinator and material control as required by the project
• To be involved, where applicable, in the preparation and execution of the design and procurement phases of the plan and their integration with the construction schedule

The Candidate:

• Construction Engineering degree
• 3 years experience required in civil engineering projects, ideally with roads
• exposed to Western management process and experience with an international company
• capability to work with deadlines and work autonomously when required
• Intermediate English
