The client

The company manufactures and distributes an extensive range of dancewear and dance shoes, and has become a leading global brand present in the dance capitals of the world.

The Position

The Internet Sales Manager responds to internet-based customers’ orders and ensures that the online store actualizes its maximum profit potential in accordance with company and Corporate established goals. The Internet Sales Manager is also familiar with online best practices related to general website usage in the retail industry.

Essential Functions:

  • Meets all goals and objectives including but not limited to response time, the number of Internet leads received, appointments set, and personal sales goals.
  • Checks CRM frequently and responds to inquiries immediately. Ensures messages not sales related have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention.
  • Ensures that items photos and videos reflect current inventory.
  • Communicates effectively with Internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, by email or text message (using approved methods).
  • Maintains general knowledge of dealership products and services and conveys this information effectively to customers.
  • Minimizes returns and refunds by finding a common ground agreement with the customer in a short time-frame
  • Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet.
  • Utilizes the CRM tool to assist in maintaining an ongoing customer database and to utilize features of the tool to capture repeat business.
  • Understands the Federal, State, and Local laws that govern retail sales and ensures that internet programs and online disclaimers are in compliance.
  • Utilizes reporting systems required by general management, the manufacturer and Corporate
  • Other duties as assigned.

The candidate

  • 5 to 10 years of experience working with online sales and orders (footwear and garments ).
  • Serious and rigorous, attention to detail.
  • Capable of using modern online sales platform.
  • Flexible, used to work in SMEs.
  • Knowledge of French or Spanish language is an advantage.
