The Company:
The client of Acteon, with over 140,000 employees and a presence in 100 countries, is a global leader in Construction and Civil Engineering projects, developing and operating a unique portfolio of transport infrastructures and public facilities concessions. Working on several major projects on Russia, they are now looking for a HR Manager / Director in Moscow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining HR strategy for the company in consultation with the CFO
- Managing and administer company programs, policies and procedures
- Recommending new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR services performed
- Sourcing experienced candidates for placement and hiring consideration
- Creating a pipeline of potential new hires for future consideration
- Coordinating mobility cases
- Managing all expat related matters
- Responding to employee inquiries
- Conducting exit interviews
- Overseeing business unit training schedule; provide input into training budget; suggest training for employee development
- Conducting HR-related trainings
- Serving as liaison with outside counsel on employment-related matters
- Establishing a system and processes for effective HR controlling
- Working on succession/progression planning; monitor career pathing program
- Managing visa and employment permit topics
- Managing payroll of local employees
Key Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of progressive human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Construction and/or infrastructure related experience is strongly preferred
- Experience at multinational corporations and proven track record in expat management
- The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
- Should be a self-starter and have strong management and leadership skills, and be capable of managing projects and tasks successfully to completion
- Must be highly accountable and able to manage and train subordinates within the organization
- Must be flexible, willing to travel when required, and have excellent presentation skills
- Native Russian, fluent English, French as a big plus
