The client of Acteon is a branch of a global leader in Civil Engineering Construction for bridges, roads and other public projects. Working on a major project in Moscow, they are currently searching for a Technical Director/Chief Technical Officer. Directly reporting to the General Director, the role consists of managing further construction steps and maintenance activities of the project..
The Role
- Providing direction and coordination of all on-site activities – office on site to visit weekly
- Planning, organizing, and managing 15 ppl team
- Managing tender and selection+ monitoring of subcontractors
- Handling Project Assets
- Supervising Construction contracts
- Managing claims with the general contractor protecting the company’s interests
- Acting as the essential link with the government and private stakeholders
The Candidate
- Higher Civil Engineering Education
- 15+ years work experience
- Successful experience working as a Project Director in Heavy Maintenance or Construction industry – road/bridge/port/airport
- Proven experience of completion and acceptance of Civil Engineering major works (>10+ m USD)
- 5+ years experience working for a state agency
- Thorough understanding of contractual terms with stakeholders
- Native Russian, Intermediate English
