The Company:

The Client of Acteon is a well-known luxury brand, designing, manufacturing and selling watches, chronographs and fashion accessories. Due to its constant growth and in order to optimize the current operations, the company is looking for an experienced Area Sales and Marketing Manager for Russia & CIS.

The Job:

  • To support the General Manager in developing and implementing the appropriate strategies to support the growth of the brand in the region
  • To support the Marketing Manager in developing brand-building marketing plans to drive the business forward in region
  • To support and guide the Distributor network in developing and building a solid sales and distribution network in the Region

The Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze Area competitors, economy, market trends and general conditions that impact the business over the mid and long-term; detect and propose potential new projects
  • Ensure that the service level and merchandising is in line with the Brand international standards in all the POS of the Area
  • Manage and develop sales and market-share in the Region both in wholesale and retail
  • Develop a strong and efficient relationship with local partners in wholesales
  • Manage the distribution network
  • Identify retail opportunities and propose potential new projects
  • Set-up actions to boost sales (staff training, incentives, stores refurbishment, assortments)
  • To plan and deliver high quality sales and brand building activities in the region in line with Global Strategy and Guidelines.
  • Develop and consolidate annual sales plans for the region
  • Work with the General Manager and Distributors to meet local budgets and sales targets
  • Understand and champion the brand at a local level, ensuring the presentation of the brand is consistent with the rest of the world

The Requirements:

  • Strong educational background
  • Senior position that requires a minimum of 6 years work experience, among which a successful proven experience with a Western company
  • Strong sales and marketing experience gained in either a luxury, retail or FMCG sales environment
  • Hands-on experience of developing and bringing plans to market
  • Experience of working in brand / market development

  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Good numerical skills – applied to budget management, analysis of sales and the effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and/or French – required
  • Good presentation skills
  • Stress resistant & hard working
  • Travelling 50% of the time
